People often called us crazy in disbelief of all the things we did. One example was when we were happy to accept an exchange student, from Argentina, for a summer program.
Anaise came to us from Venzuala and became very close to Erica. She was to spend the summer months with a family to acclimate to the U.S. before school started in the fall. It was a great experience for all of us.
Here we are enjoying a sunny afternoon of miniature golf. Ever try to get a wheelchair around a miniature golf course? It ain’t easy! But you know what? We literally took Erica everywhere -it was the adventure in living she brought to us.
